Cat Fanciers' Association Feline Historical Museum 260 E. Main St., Alliance, Ohio
The CFA Foundation Inc. was formed to educate and maintain a history of domestic felines and specifically the exhibition of cats in a centralized location. The museum includes cultural items related to cats and a non-lending library. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as 1-7 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 pm. Saturdays. Closed Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays.

One of Alliance's most recognizable landmarks, Glamorgan Castle's construction was commissioned in 1904 by Col. William Henry Morgan, Morgan Engineering's president and principal owner who amed it for his father's birthplace in Wales. The property, after having repeatedly changing hands over the last century, is now owned by the Alliance City School District, which utilizes the castle as its administrative offices. Group tours are available by appointment .
Haines House Underground Railroad Center 186 W. Market St., Alliance, Ohio 330-829-4668
The Alliance Area Preseration Society was built by one of the area's first settlers John Grant. His daughter Sarah and her husband, John Ridgeway Haines, operated a station on the Underground Railroad in the house. Tho property operates as a multicultural museum to be used to address the educational, historical and social needs of Alliance. The Haines House is open the first weekend of every month: 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday and 1-3 p.m. Sunday.
Mabel Hartzell Historical Home 840 N. Park Ave., Alliance, Ohio 330-829-1677
The Mabel Hartzell home was built in 1867 for Matthew and Mary Edwards Earley and is operated by the Alliance Historical Society. Tours are available by appointment. Call 330-823-1677 for information.
World War History & Art Museum (WWHAM) College Plaza, 1300 E. State St., Alliance, Ohio 330-829-3911
The WWHAM is dedicated to the preservation, presentation and promotion of the history of World War I and World War II, especially as expressed in original art by the men and women who served in those conflicts. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Guided tours available by appointment
